`Scenes from Charles Dickens` is a facsimile reprint of the 1908 book of the same name by Chapman and Hall.
It contains 866 pen and ink drawings from the 22-volume Household Edition of Dickens complete works (published 1870-88).
This oversize paperback (nearly 600 pages and weighing almost 3 lbs), has new cover art, and is almost entirely composed of full-page pictures, separated into chapters for each of the novels. Many of the pictures are original to the Household Edition and not seen anywhere else.
Wonderful collection of almost-satirical illustrations representing Victorian England.
